The EAB was invited to attend research presentations delivered by members of the Consortium during the meeting held in Beijing in October, 2016. Project achievements and the main challenges faced during 2016 were reported. Prior to the meeting, the research team submitted responses to the EAB report from the first annual meeting, held at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, in October 2015. The EAB provided recommendations based on their expertise and highlighted the main actions to be taken by the Consortium.
