Belmont Forum Scientific Meeting – Washington, US, December, 2018
In December 8-10, 2018, the PI Mateus Batistella and team member William McConnell attended the End-Term Meeting of the Belmont Forum and FACCE-JPI Food Security and Land Use Change Collaborative Research Action (CRA) in Washington D.C. Participants of three different calls (Food security and land use, Artic, and Mountains) attended the meeting and produced a newsletter that will be released by the Belmont Forum. Drs. Jean Ometto and Alexandre Roccatto, representatives of Fapesp, also attended the meeting. It was a great opportunity to discuss our achievements and interact with other project members funded by the Belmont Forum.
In December 10, a Transdisciplinary Town Hall was organized at the Centennial American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting, also in Washington, DC.
