The conference of the International Association of Landscape Ecology (IALE) was held in Chicago, US, April 8 – 12. During this meeting, team members presented papers and research advances and organized a workshop and a parallel section. The workshop and the parallel section explored the development and applications of the “Telecoupling Toolbox”, which can inform decision-making. This conference also held a symposium with the theme “Telecoupling for Sustainable Development and Conservation” organized by Dr. Liu and where team members presented research advances. As results, a series of papers were organized and submitted to a special issue in the journal Sustainability.
